Father’s day is approaching fast, a day
first initially introduced as a replication to Mother’s day. The male parent
has a daunting task ahead of him as he has to arrange for food and shelter of
his family. His immaculate love provides children the confidence they desperately
need. Celebrating Father’s day on second week of June is to honour the
sacrifices and services for male parent. The day is all about showing
commitment to them. Over the past 50 years, the interaction between fathers and
children has improved 3 times more as compared to mothers. Sanora Dodd was the
founder of Father’s Day, who came up with it while she was hearing a sermon of
Mother’s Day. A father has to perform various roles for his children such as
friend, carer, nurturer, and provider.
